HOT LUNCH DAY: Meal to be announced.

Hot lunches are prepared with supervision and care, and are intended to teach participants how to follow instructions and work with simple recipes for a healthy meal option.

Hand over hand technique is used to guide use of common everyday kitchen tools safely, from washing, to cutting and peeling ingredients as needed. Cooking processes and kitchen hygiene are reinforced in every hot lunch session.

The result is a nutritious lunch that teaches independence and is delicious to eat.

Allergies and food restrictions are always accommodated on an individual basis.

Menu can vary, depending on number of participants, season, availability and weekly/daily themes.

Learn songs, make music and march to the beat of your own drum! Today is all about making music. A range of activities and lessons will involve music making, listening, and playing with supervision and instruction.

Puzzles come in all shapes and sizes and today we will explore a wide variety and solve puzzles of all kinds.

Everybody’s favourite day is back. The theme is opposite day and our activities will focus on opposites!

Participants will construct a winter sun catcher with reusable materials, with a lesson alongside. This is a supervised and guided arts and crafts learning session.

A culinary favourite! Cheese in all forms is a part of many cultures and cuisines. Today we will explore cheese, from discussing how it’s made, to trying some of our favourites.

The year of the wood snake signifies a time of transformation, growth, and introspection. We will learn about the Chinese zodiac animals, and celebrate the first day of the Chinese New year together with lessons, discussion and celebration.

Today we will learn all about the Zebra and its habitat. Stories about our favourite zebras to accompany a day of black and white saharan exploration!

Counting and lessons in numbers are only made better by adding exciting colours. Numbers and colours day includes active learning, arts and crafts and discussion.
