OUR STORY

Founded by Nina Dehghani in early summer 2024, the Global Community Development Network (GCDN) addresses the growing needs of the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities. Our dedicated team shares a commitment to supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities and special needs, especially those without the resources to advocate for themselves.

At GCDN, we provide comprehensive support and resources, including secure housing, daytime care, and tailored recreational programs to alleviate the strain on caretakers and families. Our core belief is in fostering quality connections, prioritizing in-person socializing, nature activities, and educational engagement over screen time.

Our specialized programs focus on individualized learning, wellness, social interaction, and community involvement. With unique offerings like five-day-a-week day programs, after-school support, monthly movie nights, and seasonal outdoor events, we are committed to helping each participant thrive.

We’re proud to offer safe and customized private accommodations, managed by staff trained in disability care and responsive to the diverse needs of our clients. Our team works closely with each participant, ensuring secure and enriching experiences that respect their individuality.
