Today is Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, the last day of Carnival. Famously celebrated in New Orleans, there are many international ways that Mardi Gras is celebrated around the world. In the UK, it is more popular to call Mardi Gras “Pancake Day”, a traditional feast day that occurs before lent.

Today we will take inspiration from Mardi Gras, listening to music, playing with the colours and even getting a taste of our own pancakes on Pancake Day. Come along, it’s going to be great fun!
