In Canada, we observe Pink Shirt Day as a way to rise up against bullying in schools and in the community. Bullying can happen anywhere - and we want to focus on cultivating a community of kindness and recognize when someone is alone, being bullied, or needs help. We will wear our pink shirts, and dedicate events, discussions and activities to kindness, empathy, and learning about strategies to support others, asking for help and stopping bullies.
